Kellie Hazlett is a dedicated outreach coordinator with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a Master’s in Education, showcasing her commitment to both communication and learning. In addition to her academic achievements, Kellie is a licensed respiratory therapist and cosmetologist, reflecting her diverse skill set and commitment to helping others. With extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, Kellie has focused her efforts on creating better lives for individuals living with ALS and has supported veterans and their surviving family members for many years. Diagnosed in December 2022 with ALS, she embodies resilience and strength, using her personal journey to inspire and support others facing similar challenges. Kellie’s unwavering dedication to giving back highlights her belief in the power of community and compassion. Outside of her professional life, Kellie enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including scuba diving, skiing, hiking, biking, and swimming. Her love for nature is complemented by her creative pursuits in writing, cooking, and gardening. Kellie also enjoys traveling abroad and has lived outside the country, embracing new cultures and experiences. With enthusiasm for both her work and personal hobbies, she finds joy in every aspect of life.
