Dr. Clifford Fetters is a board-certified family physician practicing in Indiana and the founder of Health and Wellness of Carmel (HWOFC), one of the most comprehensive holistic healing centers in the nation. He was one year into his medical practice when he developed inflammatory arthritis. He refused to take a prescribed nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory due to the potential serious side effects. He realized the hypocrisy of not taking a treatment that he was consistently prescribing for his clients. It was at that moment that he decided to find another way to heal arthritis and all other chronic diseases. His mother, a long-time holistic nurse, encouraged him to speak with her holistic doctor. One 30-minute conversation taught him more about healing than 4 years of medical school and 3 years of residency in family practice. He was introduced to the pioneers of holistic medicine in the late 1980s. They led him on a wonderful journey in the endless pursuit of knowledge to heal patients naturally.
