A Lifetime of Working Chemically Toxic Environment.
Hello, my name is Danny Getzlaf, I am from Morinville Alberta Canada. At 50 years old I Started having symptoms of something that had no explanation. That was spring of 2017.
I had a tough time getting off the ground while finishing concrete and climbing ladders.
I knew the fatigue I had, and the long naps after work was not me. I suspected something was wrong.
The process was very quick and with all the tests, in less than two months I was diagnosed with ALS. That was November 20, 2017.
I was then told to get my affairs in order because I only had 2 to 4 years left to live. That was a complete shock!
This was my starting point to figure out what caused the diagnosis of ALS. So I took a step back and looked at my life and realized I created this. And now how to live with it.
To this date I have lived 8 years with ALS. So never let anyone put a number on your life.
Stay positive, love your family, stay calm and enjoy nature.
